To develop a fresh and engaging brand design that reflects the companyβs friendly, approachable, and customer-first ethos. The design will encompass all aspects of the brand, from visual identity to tone of voice, ensuring consistency across platforms and interactions.
Process & ideation
I began by researching my target audience and quickly translating ideas into thumbnail sketches.
Being in business for 60 years, Donaghy Bros has a rich heritage that I wanted to explore at the ideation stage. I began to think about how history is captured, through photos, scrapbooks, newspapers & stories. The DB logo made me think of a newspaper masthead which reinforced these ideas.
